The third semester workshop invites students to use and develop basic concepts and methodologies studied in the previous two semesters in order to implement a comprehensive development for an architectural problem.

The students are therefore required to understand the organic character (parameter) of a program, the user, and the urban contextual environment in which it is placed. Using and improving methodologies and design techniques and strategies developed in the previous year, the workshop tackles the complex relationship between concept, the built and the open space, the human and the built scale, and a tectonic and socio-political analysis of the programmatic integration into the urban context.

Το εργαστήρι του τρίτου εξαμήνου καλεί τους φοιτητές να συνθέσουν και να αναπτύξουν βασικές ιδέες που μελετήθηκαν τα προηγούμενα δυο εξάμηνα και να τις εφαρμόσουν σε μια περιεκτική ανάπτυξη ενός αρχιτεκτονικού προβλήματος.

Οι φοιτητές καλούνται, να κατανοήσουν τον οργανικό ρόλο (παράμετρο) ενός προγράμματος, του χρήστη, και του αστικού περιβάλλοντα χώρου στο οποίο τοποθετείται. Χρησιμοποιώντας και αναπτύσσοντας μεθοδολογίες και τεχνικές σχεδιασμού, καθώς και στρατηγικές που εφαρμόστηκαν κατά το προηγούμενο έτος, το εργαστήρι καταπιάνεται με την πολύπλοκη σχέση μεταξύ νοητικής αρχής (concept), του δομημένου και ελευθέρου χώρου, της ανθρώπινης κλίμακας και αυτής των δομημένων στοιχείων, καθώς και μιας τεκτονικής και κοινωνικό-πολιτικής ανάλυσης του προγράμματος στον αστικό ιστό.
